Q: What are the customs procedures?
A: You need to register with Canpass (1-888-226-7277) prior to departure. On arrival, you need to call Canpass (if you do not have a cell phone on board there is a courtesy phone inside the customs building). Once you receive a clearance number from Canpass you can continue to our ramp.

Q: Can I clear customs on the Avitat ramp?
A: No, you must have a clearance number from Canpass prior to entering our ramp.

Q: Where is the customs ramp?
A: The customs ramp is 300 yards to the west of Avitat, along taxiway F and across from B.

Q: How long is the drive from Avitat to downtown Vancouver?
A: The drive is approximately 30 minutes, although more time should be allotted if traveling during rush hour.

Q: Is this the closest airport to Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain?
A: Yes, this is the closest full service airport.

Q: How far is Whistler from Avitat Vancouver?
A: It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive or a 45 minute heli-flight.
